The malignant melanoma is mostly darkly pigmented and considered to be one of the most dangerous types of cancer. Already very small tumours can from metastasis in other organs. Whilst only a few decades ago most melanoma illnesses ended terminally, today approximately 85-90% of patients can be cured through early treatment.
